Is the first liquid ant bait to use Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate (DOT) as the Active Ingredient and to be labeled for dilution with any food grade liquids. DOT is a Boron salt which is toxicologically similar to Boric Acid and Borax, but has several unique characteristics that effect how it can be formulated. Gourmet Liquid Ant Bait is effective in treating very large ant infestations and does not have many of the problems associated with broadcast pesticide applications, such as ground water contamination or killing of non-target target insects that can be beneficial to controlling pests.
